rookfall A puzzle game made by puzzlers for puzzlers Control a rook stuck in purgatory. Glide over tiles to make them plummet into the abyss. Remove all the tiles to conquer levels.
Due to the nature of working in a small team, my fingerprints can be seen on every aspect of Rookfall.
The following tasks were spearheaded by me
Conceived and implemented an efficient way for all team members to create, view and alter game-required data.
Created a plethora of levels by-hand before our level generator was fully implemented, many of which remained after the level generator was pumping out levels
Implemented save system for player progress
Conducted public and private play-tests, compiled and organized the feedback to prioritize future development cycles.
Attended events to promote the game, provide demos and gain feedback
Filmed and edited game-play footage into game trailers used to for promoting the game
Handled communications between third parties like reviewers
Created art assets featured within the game and as promotional material
